I am so disappointed in all of the people in England who are blaming King John for breaking one of the demands stated in the Great charter. Sure he has made bad mistakes, but I’m sure he can learn from them. He was never destined for the throne anyway, so how do you expect him to be a good king when Lionheart over there is the one who was fully prepared to be king. Although there are most likely going to be a lot of people who fight against him at the trial. Hopefully there won’t be too much bickering between men there, but not even God can make promises there. I guess I should bring my lucky shovel in good hopes for the King. I do wish he ends up being innocent.

My opinion of the king is that he s a good man because he does so much for the people of england but i can see how some people are mad at his decisions but he tries to do whats best for england. During the trial i expect to see both of the sides fighting for what they think is right. For my prop i am bringing in a wooden sword to show how i was a knight and fought in war.

I believe that the King is an innocent man that has done much good for our kingdom of England and he does what needs to be done for our kingdom to strive, I expect for him to be proven innocent because there is not enough wrong doings as there are good doings that he has done. I will bring a tiara to show my royalty.
Cassie Marotta I am Sir Lance A Little, and I am for the king. I believe that King John has done much for England, and he is still trying to make good decisions for England. During the trial I expect many valid points to be brought up from both sides. I expect that the prosecution witnesses will refer back to the Magna Carta, and the defense witnesses will mention how King John does what he thinks is best for England. For my prop I am bringing in a sword because I am a knight.
Madison Burger I am Paul a peasant who works in fields to plant crops and I am also a merchant. I am for the king because I believe King John has tried to do his best even though he has made some mistakes along the road. I expect a lot of fighting that goes back and forth saying if King John is guilty or not. I plan on bringing in a basket full of crops because I am a peasant who works in the fields.
Anthony Turchi, I am Brother Ranulf, a monk, and I strongly believe that King John should be innocent for what had happened. A lot of people talk about how bad of a king that he is, but I think that they are all wrong. Yes, I won’t lie he has done some things that a lot of people did not like, but that does not mean that they have to hate him just for that. King John has done some very good things for us too. Especially for me and my church. during the trial I expect to see a lot of fighting and controversy, about King John, but in the end, he should be not guilty. The prop that I am going to bring in to show that I am a monk is a holy bible.

Raye Palko 8 I am Sir Bob of Sponge and i am FOR king john. one of my strongest speaking points is how he gave up almost all of his power for the magna carta and its laws. I expect the mock trial to have lots of true things about king John that is for and against him as well as some things made up like how he violated law #60. I plan on using a small shield for my prop because it represents how i am a knight.

I strongly think that the king is not guilty, yes i knowhe should have been a better ruler than he was but instead of making him get into more trouble we should give him space so he can re-think all the mistakes he had made and learn from them.I will be bringing qa rosery since i am a monk and y believe in the lord almighty.
Ava Stachowski I am Barron Van Drewsen. I honestly believe that the king is a great man. I do believe that the King is a innocent man. The man has been on trial for his reactions that have been upsetting other people ,but what about all the good things the King has done. I expect to see the king not guilty and perhaps a lot of debate. I will be bring a small pouch of coins to represent some of the taxes i have collected.
